West Bromwich Albion boss Roy Hodgson is happy to have Saido Berahino away on-loan at Northampton Town.

Hodgson admits he will be watching Berahino closely during his spell at the Sixfields Stadium.

He told the WBA website: "I think it's a good move for Saido and I'm sure it will be a good move for Northampton - and hopefully in a month's time we'll get back a stronger player, a player that has played for England Under-20s and has done very well in our reserve team and has now got a chance to show himself in the league.

"It could now be a win-win situation for all concerned, except maybe Northampton when they have to send him back to us."
