West Bromwich Albion boss Roy Hodgson is delighted with Somen Tchoyi's progress this season.
Tchoyi has started the first three games of the Premier League season alongside Long with Odemwingie nursing an ankle injury.
Hodgson told the Express & Star: "We're talking about a player who, in Premier League terms, is very new but we think he's got the ability to make his mark.
"He is very strong and technical, so he has a lot of qualities."
