West Bromwich Albion boss Roy Hodgson is banking on more to come from Peter Odemwingie.
The Nigeria striker is currently going through a six-match barren spell in front of goal in the Barclays Premier League.
"He's got the ability, no-one has ever doubted that," Hodgson told the WBA website. "But as you say, this year we haven't seen the best of him.
"Maybe he just needs a bit of time to get back into a playing rhythm.""Perhaps we've got it still to come, hopefully. There are still a lot of games left and he's fit now, which is the most important thing.
