West Bromwich Albion boss Roy Hodgson is back on the agenda for the England job.
The Sun says Hodgson is emerging as a serious rival to Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp for the England job.
FA chiefs believe West Brom chief Hodgson, in a partnership with caretaker-boss Stuart Pearce is a strong candidate in what they insist is NOT a one-horse race.
FA chairman David Bernstein said: "We have arrived at a number of target names.
"I would call it a flexible list because it's not fixed in stone and we will react to how events unfold."
