West Bromwich Albion boss Roy Hodgson has revealed they're close to signing released Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves.
The Baggies are ready to offer Hargreaves another crack at the Premier League and Hodgson revealed the club's sporting director, Dan Ashworth, has been in further discussions with the former England international about a move to the Hawthorns.
"Dan [Ashworth] has had further talks with him and the talks have been relatively positive," said Hodgson.
"We believe he's capable of playing top-flight football again and we're very interested in him."
