West Brom boss Di Matteo wonders how Man Utd rival Ferguson would handle Real Madrid

West Bromwich Albion boss Roberto di Matteo is looking forward to their trip to Manchester United.

The Baggies chief is also relishing the chance to pit his wits against one of the greatest manager's of all time in Sir Alex Ferguson.

"I think it's great he's been able to stay at a club for almost a quarter of a century," Di Matteo told the WBA website.

"It shows that stability is very important within a club to build success.

"Of course, it would also have been interesting to see Sir Alex go to the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona or Bayern Munich and deal with different challenges.

"But I'm sure Manchester United fans are delighted he has stayed put.

"He is definitely one of the greatest managers in the history of the game, both in this country and across the world."
