West Brom boss Robert di Matteo is still to hear if they can sign released West Ham United defender Calum Davenport.

The Mirror says West Brom are still waiting for ex-West Ham defender Davenport to get the green light to train with them.

Di Matteo wants to run the rule over Davenport but he hasn't played since last August when he was stabbed in both legs and is not yet able to resume training.
