West Bromwich Albion boss Roberto di Matteo says it's all about strengthening the spine of his team in the summer market.
Di Matteo says the club's search to find the right players to fill these roles is continuing behind the scenes.
"At the end of last season I said we'd need to strengthen the spine," Di Matteo told the WBA website.
"We'd need a centre-half, striker and central midfielder. We've got a centre half so we need to get a central midfielder in and a striker.
"These are the three main positions - and a goalkeeper too.
"If we can get more players then fantastic.
"We are still trying to bring people in."
