West Bromwich Albion boss Roberto di Matteo says Chris Brunt looks a natural leader.
Brunt has been leading the Baggies in the absence of club captain Scott Carson.
"Chris has matured a lot in the time I've been at the club," Di Matteo told the WBA website.
"He's become a very consistent player.
"He's got a great personality and is very well respected. I think he is a natural captain."
