West Bromwich Albion boss Roberto Di Matteo is delighted with his late summer signings.
Di Matteo said that Marc-Antoine Fortune and Paul Scharner will add to the top-flight know-how in his squad.
"They will bring quality to our team, and some experience as well," he said. "They have both played in the Premiership before.
"We were looking to strengthen down the spine of our team, and I think with these two players we have managed to do that."
The Baggies boss has already gained a reputation for being laid-back and calm, but he revealed that his club's opening Premier League fixtures have taken their toll.
He said: "I think I can put up a very good relaxed face, but inside I'm not that relaxed to be honest.
"We have a tough start, it's well known, but we will try our best.
"I always say to the players that the season is over 38 games, not just the first eight, so we have to focus on that."
