West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke says they won't pay over the odds for new signings this summer.
Finishing eighth last season earned Albion a club record Premier League windfall of £48.3 million, but they will not change their ways of trading when dipping into the transfer market.
"The club will continue to operate in the same way as it has over the past few years," said Clarke .
"The strategy will be similar to before which will probably be one big signing. We know the amount of players that the chairman likes to have in the squad so we will work on sticking to that.
"And like at most clubs, there will be three or four coming in and about the same going out."
