West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke is eager to keep Saido Berahino's feet on the ground.
Clarke insists they won't pay over the odds to keep the young striker.
"There's always someone who bursts onto the scene every season and we're fortunate that it is Saido. He was terrific last week and deserves all the plaudits he gets. Our job is to keep his feet on the ground.
"I've seen players get too much too soon. People talk about where is the young talent going and there have been many cases and money is one of the factors."
