West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke admits they're examining their transfer policy after another second-half of the season fadeout.
Clarke admits that might necessitate a re-think of Albion's January transfer policy, where the club only tends to 'top up'.
"We have to look at the fact we had a really strong start to the season and then we tailed off," he said.
"I mentioned some weeks ago that we have to look at why in the middle block of the season, around January time, the club in this year and previous years has had a dip.
"We're looking at the physical data. Maybe we need to do what Newcastle did - go into the window, bring in a couple of new faces and freshen it up.
"All those things are up for discussion. It's what we'll try to put right next season."
