West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke has warned Peter Odemwingie he faces a battle for a first team return.

With Shane Long and Romelu Lukaku impressing of late, Clarke has told Odemwingie he will not be drafted straight back in against QPR today.

He said: "Peter should be concerned he was out the side as we have good players here.

"He's worked hard in training, but so have all the other players.

"Peter will be in the squad and if and when he gets the chance to get back into the team, he has to show everyone what he can do.

"He might have to wait. There's no guarantee for anyone in this team."
