West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke is weighing up what to do with England U21 striker Saido Berahino.
Clarke is happy to juggle with the dilemma of whether to loan out his hotshot or keep him under wraps.
Clarke said: "He's part of my squad. We have to be careful with Saido. He's been out for seven months but came back and had a good pre-season.
"He had a great night with the Capital One Cup and two really good nights with the under-21s, so he's in a great place.
"My job is to manage him and make sure that in six months' time he's still in that great place and can make contributions to whatever club he is at."
