West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke expects midfield pair George Thorne and Zoltan Gera to be fit for preseason.

The midfield duo suffered anterior cruciate ligament damage just 25 days apart of each other in January.

"George got his knee brace off in double-quick time," said Clarke to the WBA website.

"He's making great progress - both him and Zoltan Gera.

"They are working hard every day and I'm sure we'll see both of them back in the squad hopefully, if not at the start of pre-season, during pre-season."
