West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke has dismissed being written off by Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer.
Shearer suggested the Baggies should enjoy their time at the top ... while it lasts.
But Clarke said: "I respect Alan and think if you ask around 95 per cent of people in football, they would say West Brom would not be in the top three come the end of the season. We'll see!
"I don't need to use that as a motivation. I know what I want to achieve here.
"I actually think there's more to come and we can continue to improve. If we don't believe there's more to come, we might as well give up."
