West Brom boss Clarke: Liverpool need Suarez to compete for top four

West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke feels Liverpool would collapse without Luis Suarez. Clarke worked with Suarez at Anfield and says the controversial striker is key to Liverpool's rise back to the top.

The Baggies boss, whose side visit Liverpool today, said: "Liverpool want to be back in the top four.

"If you want to be a big club you have to keep your best players.

"I'm not sure exactly where Luis stands in the rankings of the world's elite band of players, but he is certainly in the top 10.''
