West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke is pleased George Thorne is out on-loan at Watford.
Thorne made his move to the Hornets last week.
"Good for George, good for us and hopefully good for Watford," he said. "He played a couple of Under-21 games but he's at a stage of his development where he needs a competitive football, which is something I wasn't able to offer him. I wasn't able to give him minutes on the pitch. We have the recall if we need him.
"George is happy with the arrangement and so are we."
