West Brom boss Alan Pardew: Disappointing performance

West Brom boss Alan Pardew admits they were disappointed with their 2-1 defeat to Huddersfield Town.

Goals from Rajiv van La Parra and Steve Mounie were enough to hand the Terriers all three points despite Craig Dawson's header.

“We didn't get the performances or the performance as a team that we wanted today, so we've come away with a disappointing defeat," said Pardew.

“We were nervy, we knew how important it was and all those factors made us play erratically and give the ball away so often at times.

“The first goal was important today and we didn't get it.

“We've got to try and think of a way of getting a win, whatever way it comes, because now a victory is absolutely essential for us."
