West Bromwich Albion boss Roy Hodgson hopes to welcome back Peter Odemwingie at the weekend despite fears the striker had torn a thigh muscle. There was more good news for the Baggies when Youssouf Mulumbu reported back from DR Congo duty in good shape.
"Peter is OK, he came back and trained as did Mulumbu - it was good to have them back," the boss told the Baggies website.
Graham Dorrans, meanwhile, has made encouraging early progress in his recovery from damaged ankle ligaments.
Hodgson said: "In the space of three days we're stepping in the right direction. But we don't quite know when he'll be back."
