Gregg Wylde has signed a long-term deal with Rangers and immediately said he never had any intention of leaving the club.
The 20-year old has recently been linked with an Ibrox departure but put that all behind him when he put pen to a five-year deal with the Glasgow giants and he made it clear he was never looking for the exit door for the likes of West Bromwich Albion and Bolton.
"I'm absolutely delighted the deal is done. It's a huge weight off my shoulders and it means I can just concentrate on my future with Rangers," he said.
"There was talk about other clubs being interested in me and as far as I know there were a couple of bids put in.
"But I never wanted to leave here.
"I'm a Rangers fan and I want to stay here for a long time and become a big player for them.
"I know I've still got a load to learn. The lure of England would have been an attraction, but to be honest, staying here is even bigger at this stage of my career."
