Barnsley winger Adam Hammill is wanted by Bolton Wanderers, Blackpool and West Bromwich Albion in January.
The News of the World says ex-Liverpool winger Hammill has a clause in his contract allowing him to return to the Premier League for just £500,000.
And after an impressive start to the season for the Championship club, the 22-year-old is attracting top-flight interest.
Hammill spent time on loan at Blackpool while at Anfield, but Bolton would appear favourites for his signature with Owen Coyle always keen to snap up promising talent.
