West Brom are keen to sign permanently on-loan Bournemouth utility Marc Wilson.
Wilson, 29, has featured in the last three games.
The Express & Star says Bournemouth bought the 29-year-old off Stoke City last summer for £2million, but Wilson never settled on the south coast and was rarely used by Eddie Howe.
Stressed from moving away from his wife and newborn son, Wilson has now moved back to his family home in Knutsford.
Happier on and off the field, Wilson is eager to stay at the Baggies next season.
He still has a year left on his Bournemouth contract, but it's believed the Cherries will only want to recuperate around £1m for a player who has failed to impress Howe.
