West Bromwich Albion are moving for Cagliari goalkeeper Federico Marchetti.
Marchetti, Italy's World Cup goalkeeper and a summer target for Arsenal, has spent the season so far in the stands due to a contract row with Cagliari management.
Now Baggies boss Roberto di Matteo has approached Cagliari about signing Marchetti.
But for any move to the Hawthorns to happen, the keeper must first resolve his contract dispute with Cagliari.
