West Bromwich Albion and Watford have been charged by the FA for Saturday's melee between the two sets of players.
Late in West Brom's 3-1 win over the Hornets at The Hawthorns, Roberto Pereyra was sent off for reacting to an incident involving James McClean.
The Baggies winger kicked the ball into Pereyra as he fell to ground, prompting the Argentine to kick out at and then push the Irishman, sparking an altercation with several players from both clubs.
An FA statement read: "Both West Bromwich Albion and Watford have been charged for failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained from provocative behaviour.
"It follows an incident in the 84th minute of the game on Saturday December 3 2016.
"Both clubs have until 6pm December 8 to respond to the charge."
