West Brom and Manchester United have agreed a fee over Jonny Evans.
The London Evening Standard says West Brom have agreed an initial £6m fee with United to sign defender Evans.
The centre back will travel to the Hawthorns on Saturday and the proposed move, which also includes £2m worth of add-ons, is expected to be completed over the weekend prior to Tuesday's transfer deadline.
The Northern Irishman progressed through United's youth academy, made 198 appearances for the Red Devils and won three Premier League titles at the club.
WBA manager Tony Pulis praised Evans during his press conference on Friday afternoon.
"Jonny would be a great signing for the football club but it's down to the money men and his side," Pulis said.
