West Bromwich Albion and Fulham managers Roy Hodgson and Martin Jol have both played down speculation regarding Peter Odemwingie.
Recent reports have suggested that the Nigerian striker was set to depart The Hawthorns for Craven Cottage for £3million and Damien Duff and Chris Baird heading the other way but both bosses have rubbished those claims.
"We've had no contact with Fulham, or any other club for that matter, regarding Odemwingie.
"He is not a player we are looking to sell. That story is a bit of a waste of breath to be perfectly honest."
Jol added at Fulham's pre-match press conference for the Newcastle United: "There is no truth in that. We have been quiet so far.
"We do not comment on players going out and coming in. You have to wait and see until the end of January.""There is no truth in it," Hodgson told West Brom's official website.
