Wesley Silves leaves Vasco for FC Dallas

FC Dallas have secured the services of Wesley Silva from Vasco da Gama.

The 27-year old Brazilian forward, also known as 'Pipico', will be added to Dallas' playing roster pending receipt of his P-1 visa and International Transfer Certificate (ITC).

Between 2010 and 2012, Pipico has scored 19 goals and added 26 assists in 45 matches in the Brazilian Carioca Serie A and Serie C Championships for the likes of Bangu, Macae and Vasco.

"Pipico is a dynamic player who gives us some depth at the forward position and allows us to transition into playing in a 4-4-2 system," said FC Dallas head coach Schellas Hyndman.

"He is an intelligent attacking player with solid finishing ability."
