Werder Bremen are ready to make an opening offer for Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner.
The Denmark international is battling to convince Gunners boss Arsene Wenger to keep faith in him for next season.
Bendtner has been linked with a series of European clubs, though no concrete offers have yet been made.
Werder chief Klaus Allofs, however, is ready to move and is expected to make an opening bid before the end of the month.
