Werder Bremen chief Klaus Allofs will make a decision over Diego's future at the end of the season.

Manchester City and Chelsea have both registered their interest this month for the Brazil international, who carries a price-tag of £20 million.

Allofs said: "There are three possibilities, we'll decide after the end of the season: he could stay, but also renew or leave prematurely."
