Werder Bremen open AC Milan talks for Taiwo

Werder Bremen have approached AC Milan for fullback Taye Taiwo.

The German giants are ready to splash out to sign the Nigeria international permanently in January.

Taiwo only joined Milan in the summer from Marseille, but has failed to nail down a regular start and is ready to move on.

Werder hope to do business for €5 million.
