German club Werder Bremen have decided not to pursue Celtic midfielder Ki Sung-yueng.
The 23-year old South Korean international was being heavily linked with a summer move to the Bundesliga outfit but general manager Klaus Allofs has confirmed that Bremen have now dropped their interest.
"However, at this point in time, he is a non-issue and is pretty much off the agenda for our club.""We are definitely aware of Ki Sung-yueng, he certainly is a very good player," Allofs told kicker-Sportmagazin.
Ki is still reportedly being tracked by Bremen's rivals Bayer Leverkusen whilst Premier League outfit QPR are also believed to be keen.
