Werder Bremen defender Sebastian Boenisch is upset with his treatment by Stoke City.

The Poland international trialled at Stoke in preseason and felt he'd done enough to earn contract offer.

"This is something I'll never do again," said the 25-year-old. "I even did two trial matches and the coach told me I was one of the best.

"But he could not sign me, because he had yet to sell two other defensive players."
