Werder Bremen sporting director Frank Baumann admits they're interested in Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker.
The German is also a target for former club Hannover.
Baumann told Bild: "In the course of Serge [Gnabry's] transfer, we also talked about his [Mertesacker's] future.
"I can see Per at Werder."
