Werder Bremen chief Frank Baumann has dismissed fresh transfer interest for Thomas Delaney.

The Denmark midfielder has attracted an offer from Brighton this week - which has been thrown out by Werder.

Baumann snapped: "The sum of €15 million that is on the table, that's nonsense.

"Our first goal is to start the new season with Thomas. We do not want to sell Thomas and we did not promise him anything for the summer."

For his part, Delaney could not rule out leaving Werder last weekend.
