Werder Bremen chief Frank Baumann has confirmed they will fight to keep hold of Thomas Delaney.
The Denmark midfielder is a target for Brighton, which had a €12m offer turned down by Werder in January.
However ahead of the summer market, Baumann told BILD: "Thomas has always said before his move to us that one day he can imagine switching to England.
"There were inquiries in the summer, even one before he started with us, and even now one in the winter.
"But he also feels very comfortable with us."
He added: "Our goal is very clear, to continue with Thomas."
