Werder Bremen chief Klaus Allofs has confirmed their intention to sign permanently on-loan Chelsea striker Claudio Pizarro.

"Our idea hasn't changed," said Allofs.

"We are going to pay the clause agreed with the English and we want to offer the player a permanent contract for one or two years."
