Werder Bremen fear losing young striker Aaron Hunt to Chelsea.

Bild says Chelsea and Barcelona are monitoring Hunt's progress this season, with the youngster already at the centre of an international tug-of-war between England and Germany.

Werder chief Klaus Allofs conceded: "We can only offer that he continues to develop with us. He can earn good money at our club, but we probably could not compete with bids from Barcelona and Chelsea."

For his part, Hunt says: "I'm not looking for a change, I'm happy in Bremen."
