Werder Bremen have approached Aston Villa for defender Curtis Davies.
The centre-back, 25, rekindled his reputation going on loan to Championship Leicester.
He can leave Villa Park for £2.5m in January and Stoke, Bolton, Wolves and Leicester are also all keen on the former England prospect.
