Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has a long summer shopping list.

The Sunday Telegraph says according to the latest accounts Wenger will have in the region of £50?million to work with if he wants in January.

If his team have climbed the table he may decide that it is better that he secures Thomas Vermaelen, Theo Walcott and Robin van Persie on new contracts.

The club has a long list of targets from their efforts to recruit in the summer and if Gary Cahill (Bolton), Yann M'Vila (Rennes), Marvin Martin (Sochaux), Lucho González (Marseille) or Eden Hazard (Lille) became available at the right price, Arsenal could act.
