Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been talking to the media before the Gunners' Champions League game against Bulgarian side Ludogorets on Wednesday and the subject of a rejuvenated Theo Walcott was brought up.
The Frenchman is asked about Walcott, who has scored seven goals in nine Gunners games since being left out of England's squad for Euro 2016.
"He lets the passion for the game come out of his body and that is what you want from him," says Wenger. "When he plays with more freedom, he lets his thoughts come out and plays with more desire because he is a less restricted player."
Did anyone try to sign Walcott in the summer? "I haven't spoken to anybody because I was not ready to let him go, I always wanted to keep him," added Wenger.
