Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was disappointed with the attack on board members during the AGM.
Wenger admitted he was surprised at the sniping towards board members and claimed only a small percentage voiced dissent - though, in reality, virtually every shareholder who stepped up to speak was critical.
He said: "Yes, of course, I was surprised because the board does a good job and works very hard. I didn't feel anger or disagreement with the board.
"I felt more fear and concern we have dropped off the top teams in England which you can understand with the start we had."
