Arsene Wenger has rejected the chance to be Manchester City boss, claims the Daily Star Sunday. The Gunners chief wants to stay at the Emirates and let it be known he was not interested in the City job.

There was no official approach to Arsenal's French boss and the Blues are still backing Mark Hughes.

But that has not deterred third-party approaches to Wenger, Inter Milan's Jose Mourinho and Rafa Benitez at Liverpool.
