Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger refuses to accept they're underdogs going into Saturday's derby with Tottenham.

When told by a reporter his side were the dominant force in north London for a "long period", Wenger interjected: "For 20 years!"

The Gunners finished 11 points behind Tottenham last term, finishing outside the top four by a single point.

“It was the first time in the history of the Premier League [to miss top four] with 75 points, so I still feel it was harsh on us.

“People forget we won the FA Cup in a very stylish way."

Asked whether his side go into the derby as the unfancied team, Wenger added: "No, not at all.

"Tottenham is a good side but we have the quality to win this game and that's what we want to show."
