Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is set to stay for one more year.
The Sunday Express says Wenger, 67, was offered a two-year deal earlier in the season – but he has reached a compromise to stay on for one more year.
He is reluctant to go after 21 years, despite suffering six defeats in the last nine games.
Juventus boss Max Allegri had agreed to take over if Wenger decided to stand down when his contract runs out in summer.
After Saturday's 3-1 defeat against West Bromwich Albion – when there were protests against him – Wenger revealed he has made a decision about his future after talks with the Arsenal board and would make it public “very soon" .
