Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger intends to push through a deal for Haugesund whizkid Havard Nordtveit.

Wenger was in Norway on the weekend to thrash out terms with Haugesund over a fee for the 16 year-old defender.

Jim Solbakken, Nordtveit's agent, told Haugesunds Avis: "Arsenal have watched Havard regularly throughout Autumn and knows what he's all about.

"They're the one club that is in the picture at the moment. They want Havard to travel to London this summer."
