Arsenal produced a brilliant physical and mental performance in their FA Cup quarter-final win over Manchester United.
Manager Arsene Wenger was full of praise for his Gunners side after goals from Nacho Monreal and Danny Welbeck, either side of Wayne Rooney's equalizer, saw them through to the semi-finals of the famous cup competition.
After the triumph, Wenger spoke highly of his Arsenal outfit who overcame Louis van Gaal's determined United side who had Angel Di Maria sent off with just over 10 minutes remaining.
"On the day we have shown we were mentally at the level requested, because it was a very physical, committed game where we needed to deal with a very decided Man United team," he said.
"We did that well without forgetting to play our football. You need some quality to do that. I feel we played a good game from the start and we deserved to win the game."
Arsenal will meet the winner of the Bradford City v Reading replay in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley on the weekend of April 18.
