Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger insists they're not moving for Werder Bremen defender Per Mertesacker.
The Germany international has been linked with Arsenal and Tottenham after declaring an ambition to play in England.
"We currently have four central defenders, and thus we do not need any more," Wenger told Kicker.
The comment from Wenger comes after reports emerged today of a bid for Birmingham City defender Scott Dann.
