Arsenal fans still retain faith in manager Arsene Wenger.

After Robin van Persie's contract shocker, there is some good news for Wenger, as the Arsenal Supporters Trust will release the results of their annual survey to show his approval rating among fans has shot back up.

Only a year ago, 42 per cent of 1,000 ­members surveyed believed Wenger had taken the club as far as he could, with 40 per cent disagreeing and 18 per cent unsure.

The Sunday Mirror has ­obtained figures that show the AST will confirm about 80 per cent of members now believe Wenger is doing a good job and remains the man to take Arsenal forwards.
